Black Genius has been DJing since around the age of 11.  His father owned a sound system, and growing up in Clapham, London, he and his brother used to wait until their father went out so they could mess around on it and learn to DJ.  Since those days, he has grown his DJing skills by playing on sound systems including Frontline International, D-Unis, Mellows, Untouchable, Nashville HiFi, Jamworld, Inner Circle, Lovelight Studio, and his own current sound system, Genius Downbeat. 

DJ Black Genius loves to make people dance, and DJing is his lifelong passion.  He plays a mix of genres, but his specialist genres include Reggae, Soul, Old-school, and Afrobeats.
