DJ OP began his musical journey in 1979, delivering his first MC/DJ set at the age of nine. By 1981, he was hosting his first radio show on Traffic Jam Radio in Stonebridge. Surrounded by sound systems while growing up, he joined Hawkeye Sound at just 14, touring across the UK and performing alongside top sound systems.

In 1994, he founded the HI-Life Family, focusing primarily on promoting UK artists through radio. Today, his passion continues with his long-running program, The Drive Time Promo Show, and he remains active on tour with corporate companies
